Happy 90th birthday, Communist Party of China. A little outside of the normal European focus here, but worth noting. For the occasion, a nice bit of context from the BBC about Sidney Rittenberg, an American communist who spent almost four decades in China dedicating his life to revolutionary Maoism, before becoming disillusioned and moving back to America.
